I am a college student at the minneapolis college of art and design. I enjoy all things artistic and anything computer or gadget related.
Line for voting at around 11ish, it wrapped halfway around the east side of the block.

It is surprising how relaxing a weekend at home in the burbs can be after a stressful 10 some weeks at school in the city, constantly schlepping back and forth sleeping in too late not eating enough and working long hours in the 3D shop can
due do (apparently it affects my spelling as well) a number on a guy. While my stay at home wasn't homework free (I'll be lucky if I get that at MCAD) it was a lot more relaxing having the company of family and especially seeing my dog again :). I also started on my color journal for my foundation 2D class. I'll post photos of that soon. Lets just hope this week goes by well, I've got a test on Wednesday and another 3D project to work on, a soft sculpture this time but I have an idea of what I want to do for it.

three interesting newyork post articles brought to my attention by the website

On Foreign Policy
Looking back on the four years of his first administration, President Obama can be proud: He made the US welcome among the family of nations again; he reduced our reliance on military force; and he gave us peace by reaching sensible accommodations with our enemies.
On Fiscal management
This Tuesday, we'll find out who wins the presidential election - Michigan Governor Hillary Rodham Clinton or Republican candidate Charlie Crist of Florida. An exhausted President Barack Obama will soon return home to Illinois. But he can do so in the knowledge that he tried his best, and leaves a solid foundation for the next president, even if most voters can't see it yet.
A look back
It's hard to believe that just four years ago, some were talking about Barack Obama as a national savior, a secular redeemer, a "light worker." Even more shocking, President Obama lost the nomination of his own party to none other than Hillary Clinton. How did we get here?

I'm getting so stressed from my workload at school that I started imagining things. I thought that I wore my scarf to school and set it down under my jacket when I got to the 3D shop (a memory from yesterday) and when I came back I realized that it was 'gone' and that I thought someone stole it when I actually never even wore the scarf in the first place. *Sigh* winter break seems so far away.

A work in progress for my foundations 3D class, it has some nasty weld marks that I need to clean up and I still have a few more things to attach to it. Its due on Halloween, yikes!
